Kucoon.com has posted some photos of their favorite celebrity, Hitomi Kuroki.
Since Japancast’s fearless leader is also named Hitomi and Hitomi happens to be my favorite Japanese name, I thought I’d post a link.

Hitomi is a pretty name. What does it mean? I think hitomi as a word means
eye or pupil.
Hitomi no Jyunin=Living in your eyes by L’Arc~en~Ciel.
“Sobanite zutto kimi no egawo mitsumeteitai. Utsuri iku shunkano sono Hitomi
ni sunde itai.” (Always by you gazing into your smiling face. I want to live
in your eyes, and feel the changing reflections.)
Hitomi wo tojite by Ken Hirai. I am not sure, but I think it means close your
eyes. “Hitomi wo tojite. Kimi wo egakuyo. Sore dake de ii.” (Close your eyes.
I paint/draw/describe you. Good from only that.)
Anyway, I suspect that Hitomi in Japanese is the equivalent to the name Iris
in english (also a pretty name). Tadashii desu ka?
BTW, feel free to correct any mistakes I made.
Hitomi Kuroki, looks so familiar…
Kuroki=black tree?
BTW, all I can tell you about Ophelia is that it is the name of Hamlet’s crazy
girlfriend who killed herself, and it is the name of track 10 on L’Arc~en~Ciel’s
album called “Awake”.
Karenna doresu ni tsutsumare kimi wa kirameku
Tadayou kashisuno nioiwa amaku yowasete
My dearest Ophelia-what’s the reason for your silence?
(Wrapped in a lovely dress, you shine.
A drifting scent of cassis slightly makes me weak/intoxicates me.)
Feel free to correct these, as well. Arigato!
Wow, I looked at Hitomi Kuroki’s picture in the article. She is beautiful. I can not believe
she is only 46! Wow. She probably stays out of the sun. (The sun makes your skin age
quicker.) Our fearless leader Hitomi Griswold is very beautiful!
